By inverting the theoretical and practical learning spaces, the flipped classroom modifies the role of the instructor, who becomes a guide and a multimedia content producer rather than a lecturer. What are the advantages of this new trend, and how can it be implemented?

Our guest speaker, Audrey McGoldrick, is an online mathematics teacher at Learn Quebec who practices reverse instruction with her students. She has generously created a section on her blog especially for this webinar. If you would like to experience flipping from the student’s perspective, watch one of the short instructional media proposed in that section before you come to the webinar. Feel free to use the blog to leave comments and questions for Audrey, and don’t worry if you don’t watch any of the media – this is strictly voluntary!
