  • Enrique Velasco Sanchez, UNAM University (Mexico)

At our first Net Talk event, Dr. Enrique Velasco Sanchez will be on site from UNAM University in Mexico with his students (college teachers) to present his experience on using Web 2.0.

He will explain collaborative knowledge building, why it is important, and how we can facilitate it by integrating widely available Web 2.0 tools in our classes. Dr. Velasco Sanchez will give us many real-life examples how he uses these tools like wikis, blogs, Wikimedia, YouTube, Teamviewer and more to enhance learning.

Dr. Velasco, a member of the Mexican Academy of Science, is a graduate of Université de Montréal in Educational Technology. He teaches workshops and seminars to teachers to integrate TIC in the teaching.
